Transierra Norte THE RIDE Itinerary
Day 1
Your guides will pick you up at the Oaxaca´s City International airport and drive you to your comfortable lodging place and assist with bike assembling, to then after walk downtown for the first delicious meal.
Day 2
Early in the morning and after breakfast we will load the bikes on our MTB shuttles and go ride 4-5 trails in the area where everything started in Oaxaca, here you will see what the Mexican riding is about. More than 15 km of singletrack and 2000 m of elevation loss.
Day 3
The first pedal of the trip with 15 km of pedaling inside of the beautiful lush pine forest to one of the classic trails in the Sierra Norte, 13 Km of descending over natural lines and passing through 3 different types of vegetation. After lunch, we will visit a Mezcal distillery.
Day 4
Today we will ride the area with the most hand-built and natural trails, famous for it´s lush and magic forest. A 7 km fun downhill ride will wrap the day, we will go Mezcal tasting accompanied by a delicious dinner.
Day 5
A huge day, expect more than 3500 m of elevation loss, long trails many shuttles. Here you will ride what "Jerome Clementz" called one of the best Race Stages he has ever done, a top to bottom descent will take us to our favorite sunset spot where beers will be already waiting for us.
Day 6
Today we will share some of the fresh cut and cleared trails for our upcoming event Transierra Norte 2020. The highlight of the day is a hike a bike to an amazing viewpoint rewarded by a unique descent that will take us back to Oaxaca City.
Day 7
To wrap this amazing trip you will ride some of the Transierra Norte crew favorite trails, visit the Zapotec temple of Montealban and have a delicious goodbye dinner in one of the best places in downtown Oaxaca.
Day 8
Your guides will make sure to drop you off at the airport on time to catch your flight back home.
