Tran Sierra Norte THE RIDE- The trails got me stoked every time to head back up for another lap, no matter how long transfer was or how bad the weather was. The food at camp was really good and the good vibes were non-stop, it was hard not to be having a good time.

Myself and three friends scheduled a guided trip with Transierra Norte THE RIDE for February 2020 to escape the cold and ride some sweet trails. They more than delivered! Alvin was extremely easy to work with when scheduling the trip. Once we arrived in Oaxaca, everything was completely dialed and stress-free, it was the perfect mix of laid back and keeping to a bit of a schedule to maximize our time. The riding was phenomenal, and Alvin and his crew have true local knowledge of the area plus they were great at setting up the perfect rides throughout the week according to our group's skills and energy levels.

If you're looking for stellar trails, food, weather, and people I highly recommend booking a trip with these guys. They really make you feel welcomed and their love of showing you their region shines through the whole trip. We'll be back for sure!

This trip is incredible, if you are even just thinking about doing this trip - book it now! The week we spent in Oaxaca, Mexico with Alvaro was one of the best and most enjoyable weeks we have ever had. Everything we did from the amazing riding to the fantastic food and the beautiful culture, to everyone we met, was just outstanding! In just 7 days we rode over 100 miles of shuttles on some of the raddest trails I have ever experienced. The trails were challenging, long, rocky, and rowdy and so much fun, I would be lying to you if I didn't say they were some of the best trails we had ever ridden!!

Alvaro is such a great person, he truly makes this tour as great as it is. He is so passionate about what he is doing and has so much fun doing it! He is a great rider but makes sure you are safe while riding (aka he has all the first aid kits and bike repair tools). He knows the best spots in town and will take you to eat the most delicious food you have ever eaten and go to the best Mezcalarias.

We went down to Oaxaca from the Tetons to check out the hype this fall, and it’s absolutely the real deal! Alvaro showed us around the Sierra Norte’s best trails and mezcals for 7 days of the best riding of the year! The trails are steep and quite technical and unlike really anything you can find in the states! Even better though was the warm and welcoming Oaxacan culture that we got to explore, trying out some amazing traditional food and beverages. We can’t wait to come back.
