During the 2021 edition of the TranSierra Norte race, we had the pleasure of hosting the Colombian MTB legend Marcelo Gutierrez. Not only did he party-ride with us and bring the best vibes to the event, but he also managed to take the win. Marcelo has been the only latin american to take a TSN win. After the race, Marcelo naturally fell in love with Mexico and wanted to come back to further explore Oaxaca’s Mountains and cultural assets. This fall, Marcelo will be joining us on a 7-day skills camp, combining On-The-Bike progression with delicious food and mesmerizing scenery.
The camp will take place from October 9th until the 15th and includes 6 nights of 4-star accommodation and 7 days of activities. It will be an all-inclusive experience and will not only improve your skills on your bike, but it will also quench your thirst for adventure, exploring the depths of Oaxaca’s Sierra Norte, sampling traditional gastronomy, and being exposed to the local culture.
Marcelo is a retired World Cup downhill racer that had an outstanding racing career. He will teach you the fundamental skills to progress and take your riding to the next level in a safe and fun environment.
